The First Alexandria International Biennale for Miniature Graphics
The Bibliotheca Alexandrina aims to be a center of excellence in the production and dissemination of knowledge and to be a place of dialogue, learning ,tolerance and understanding between cultures and peoples . It aspires to be the world’s window on Egypt and Egypt’s window on the world . In the light of this, the Arts Center at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina initiates and hosts numerous artistic events in all forms especially those concerned with the visual arts . Among these events we mention here two main ones ; the annual Alexandria International Symposium for Sculpture in Natural Materials with its 4th round opening 15 June 2009 and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina International Biennale for the Artist’s Book with its 4th round coming in April 2010.
You are invited to submit samples of your work to be reviewed by the event`s committee who will be in charge of the selection of participating artists.
